1) Most contents are copied from Internet and then tailored, I am not the author. the Copyright issue is very complicated for me and I have no idea how it works.
But def·i·nite·ly I don't want to get into trouble.
2) By the way, the contents can be found on internet, so no val·ue add·ed here.
3) also our forum is for technical issues, this article does not conform to this requirement, it is a noise and discordant note.
Wow! @safaia... my non-official warning above about copyright issues, wasn't meant to ruin your entire Bodhi History thread. Sorry.
After a quick review of LQ rules and FAQs (it's been a few years since I read these), I didn't find any specific rulings regarding posting copyrighted materials. It might be a good idea for you to check with Jeremy himself or a Mod about this stuff. I'm NOT an authority.
A solution to this is to continue making these informative posts, but use your own words as a synopses to the content of these websites you've been quoting from. You can quote samplings of copyrighted material and also link to the originals. I don't think anyone here or the copyright holders would think you were attempting to plagiarize any of the work for profit.
Again, sorry I startled you about all this. Jeremy and the Mods here are good folks. Give 'em a holler and point to this thread. They will be able to give you good advice about this. Your efforts here on this thread provide something needed, I think. It is important that a distribution's history is available to users.
This is a beautiful idea, but it is better to get a native English writer to achieve it.
English is not my native language.
My native languages are Chinese and Japanese, both are East Asian language, which have a big
difference from Indo-European language such as English. Mostly I can do is just copying & pasting text.
So the editing task is really beyond my capabilities. Willing but unable.
By the way, I suggest to delete this thread, leave this thread here just messed up the forum.
If someone wants to take over this subject, can go ahead to open a refresh new thread and I am glad to see the success.
