Changing USB flash drive permissions

Hi, guys,

When I try to copy files from the computer's SSD to a USB flash drive, I am receiving a message that I cannot do it because I have no permission to write to that drive.

How can I change permissions on a USB flash drive?

Thank you,

BM

Hi:

Run:

Code:
sudo fdisk -l
Than once you know your usb sticks description you can than run:

Code:
sudo chmod 666 /dev/sdX
sdX would be the usb stick.

Here's the answers:

Great, we are on the same page. I like Picasso two. Even though your birds are in color, they remind me his one-line art pieces.

The Ulternative Reality series is definitely Picasso style.

Enjoy your day.
