It's an Asus Atom Netbook processor and should be fine. What you need to try I think is burning the Bodhi legacy iso onto a dvd - you'd need a usb dvd drive to install. I find you cannot install Bodhi from usb - for Bodhi 5 anyway. You can with Bodhi 4. I wouldn't recommend any of the other lightweight ones tbh - fiddly to install and set up and I was only really happy with Bodhi and Xubuntu. Bodhi is very simple to install - when your machine will boot it! If you don't want to install via dvd - then burn xubuntu to a usb stick and install that. Providing you have a hard drive greater than 8GB. Those are my two go-to distros for old laptops and atom processors, with Bodhi being the favourite :-)

I've installed on a few Asus "netbooks". Yes you need to turn off fast boot etc (all options for that) in the bios. Then hit the escape key repeatedly when you turn on the pc so it picks up the usb/dvd drive and select that so it will boot from it. However with the usb you may well get the busy box error message at booting. No idea why. But it installs absolutely fine from dvd! If you don't have access to or don't want to invest in a usb dvd drive (I find it invaluable) and only want to install from usb then I would suggest Xubuntu 18.04. However that has boot splash problems after install (Which I have yet to find a solution for) - it will boot after it's installed but a bit messily!

If you want to try Bodhi before deciding whether to get a usb dvd drive, then Burn Bodhi 4 onto usb - that will install from usb. It's based on Ubuntu 16.04 long term support.
