Hi;
I have bohdi 5 legacy installed in a Vbox with 1gb mem and 32gb fixed HD.
I can not install any Apps.
I have tried from the appcenter, and getting started page.
I can not refresh the update page either.
Whenever I try a Box opens with processing at top, and refreshing package lists on the bottom
I have waited up to 3hrs and nothing happens.
I do have an internet connection with 45mbs and can surf the web with midori.
I have also tried
sudo apt install synaptic
with no luck, I get package synaptic has no installation candidate.
It seems to,
But it is awfully quick.
It says all packages are up to date.
This is what I get when trying to install firefox using terminal
This is after using update and upgrade commands
al@al-VirtualBox:~$ sudo apt-get install firefox
[sudo] password for al:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package firefox is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package 'firefox' has no installation candidate
