[SOLVED] BL5.1-64bit and 32bit

I have two computers, one is a desktop with Mint 19.3 MATE 64bit installed and the other one is a netbook with BL5.1-Legacy installed.

On both machines, there's also vino and remmina installed.
The connection between these two doesn't work.
I'm asked for the password, so I guess the connection is set up properly, but I don't see the desktop of the remote machine.
Instead of that, I only see a black screen and the mouse pointer doesn't move either.

Vino is installed according to this guide.

And because I already had this problem with the version of remmina from Synaptic, I updated remmina according to the PPA section of this guide.

But still there's the black screen.

Any ideas about what might have gone wrong, please?

Just updated to remmina 1.4.
Still no chance.
I'm asked for the password, it's accepted, but then there's still only a black window in remmina.

I suppose no one knows. I haven't had time to look at this and prob won't have time until this coming weekend. Sorry. Only responding because no one else has.

Yesterday, there was an update for remmina again, but it's still not working.

Updated Bodhi 5 legacy here - remmina works fine with x11vnc as the server and with RDP to a windows box, so I suspect a problem with vino.

Try x11vnc or another vnc server.

I'm not exactly sure what's causing this issue.
It might be the router as well.

The connection does work, the only thing that doesn't is the remote desktop which doesn't appear anymore in remmina.

Yesterday, I got another update of it, but still no chance.

Got no clue, where to find a solution.

I did it.

My wifi driver rtl8812au was causing this.

I needed version 5.2.20.2 but I installed 5.6.4.2, lately.

Going back to the 1st one fixed this issue.
