I have compiled a very useful (as I think) 64 bit kernel for Slackware 12.0 – 14.1 and/or all Slackware derivatives. For example Slax, Zenwalk, SlackEX and Exton|Defender. The kernel is compiled exactly the same way as Slackware’s latest kernel huge. “My” kernel 3.12.1-exton has even more support for new hardware, etc. Kernel 3.12.1 is the latest stable kernel available from Kernel.org. Released yesterday (20131120).

The system is a remaster of Ubuntu 13.10 – codenamed "Saucy Salamander", released on October 17, 2013. The original system includes the Desktop Environment Unity 7.1 (Ubuntu). I have added LXDE, Mate 1.6.0, Razor-qt 0.4.1 and XBMC 12.0 ("An award-winning free and open source (GPL) software media player and entertainment hub for digital media") as alternatives, so that everyone on the spot (during live operation) can compare the different five Desktop Environments. The system...
A new version of EXTON Linux MultibootCD 6-OS is ready. Changes: New (latest) versions of Slax, Puppy Linux, 4MLinux, Tiny Core and SliTaz. I have replaced Parted Magic with GParted.
What's the point of running EXTON Linux MultibootCD 6-OS?
Anyone who is slightly interested in Linux and want to see how far the development of the most famous mini Linux systems have reached should try it. Naturally, also all who own older 32 bit computers that require a smaller system, which can...
I’ve made a new version of SlackEX Linux Live DVD based on Slackware 14.1, released 131107.
New features in version 131111 of SlackEX 14.1 (compared with the previous version from 130905)
I have replaced kernel 3.10.10-x86_64-exton with kernel 3.11.4-x86_64-exton with support for “extra everything”. KDE is downgraded from version 4.11.1 to version 4.10.5 - latest version i Slackware’s repositories. All other component software is also upgraded to the latest Slackware 14.1 version...
