I saw you poke your head in the IRC room, but you kept leaving before anyone could respond.

Sure, install a Void Linux stratum (e.g. `brl fetch void`). If it doesn't come with an init, install one with its package manager. Reboot. At Bedrock's init selection menu, select Void's init. Assuming that goes well, you can set it as the default init in /bedrock/etc/bedrock.conf's [init] section.

I'm not
exactly sure what you mean by Void under Bedrock.
Are you saying you can get wifi working on a normal Void install, but when you hijack it you lose wifi?

Did you hijack a distro that successfully provided you internet access? If so, just use its components - its kernel, its init, etc - to get internet going again. Once you're there, do whatever setup you need to do to get rtl8821ce running against whatever component you're swapping out.

Then go ahead and use that kernel.

I'm not sure I properly understood you, but hopefully you'll see where I'm misunderstanding things from my response and be able to clarify things.
