Using Aryalinux builder 2017

Hello, everybody!

As new to Aryalinux I can only describe what happened during the building process and at which point it interrupted/finished with an error message. As there is no documentation on the DVD and no topical help on the homepage I was depending on building some analogy to the "old way" of building Aryalinux. In the DVD's root directory you can find the main script build-aryalinux. It governs more than 4 subscripts to steer the process and to simplify it for normal users that can't spend their time in learning linux from scratch. In my case I used a USB pen drive partioned by gparted into two partitions / and /home formatted with ext4 filesystem as installation target. The build system was started from DVD. For detailed hardware information see below. The process stopped in the middle of the stage4-script (during the GRUB build) with the error message that it couldn't find an EFI-Partition. Of course, it couldn't find it because there is none. My machine is too old for that. Because lack of time I didn't try to resume the building process. That's why I can't say whether it could continue or resume. The only thing I tried afterwards was to boot the basic system which was installed up to that point. It was possible to start it by an external GRUB. But the installed software didn't allow the possibility to repair the GRUB configuration (file), of course. GRUB wasn't installed

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. I believe you boot the DVD in EFI mode and that is the reason why this failure happened. Could you try and see if the failure happens if you boot the DVD in legacy mode.
