waiting for X server to shut down FreeFontPath: FPE "/usr/share/fonts/misc" refcount is 2 should be 1; fixing.
This is the error my xserver displays, it displays an nvidia image, then i see a brief sight of the desktop with an X cursor on it, and the the screen blinks, and returns the error above. What is wrong?
I have used like 3-4 hours trying to repair this, and now i simply give up, can someone help?
i think it's because my graphics card is a crappy 6xxx to be precise a 6600, have had problems with on both xp and now linux, so ordered in an X1600 XT

Yesterday I met the same problem,I searched nearly all the Posts,but I failed.
Today I have a try,firstly I del the file ".xinitrc";secondly I del the words " setenv LANG zh_CN.eucCN setenv LC_LANG zh_CN.eucCN " in the file of ".cshrc " ,the problm is solved!
