Xserver refcount is 2, should be 1; fixing. error

waiting for X server to shut down FreeFontPath: FPE "/usr/share/fonts/misc" refcount is 2 should be 1; fixing.
This is the error my xserver displays, it displays an nvidia image, then i see a brief sight of the desktop with an X cursor on it, and the the screen blinks, and returns the error above. What is wrong?
I have used like 3-4 hours trying to repair this, and now i simply give up, can someone help?

The refcount error is a benign problem. The real problem is something else. Most likely related to your driver. Check your Xorg.log for (EE) entries.

Smile Yeah,I met the same problem, today I solved it

[QUOTE=kbutcher5;2335474]waiting for X server to shut down FreeFontPath: FPE "/usr/share/fonts/misc" refcount is 2 should be 1; fixing.
Yesterday I met the same problem,I searched nearly all the Posts, but I failed.
Today I have a try, firstly I del the file ".xinitrc";secondly I del the words " setenv LANG zh_CN.eucCN setenv LC_LANG zh_CN.eucCN " in the file of ".cshrc " ,the problm is solved!
Good luck, guys,Hope it can be useful to you.
