15GB is all I have (capacity) in the hard disk for the root partition. I'm afraid if a general upgrade is successful then I'll be left with no room in that partition. Anyways, pacman -Syu being not successful is an old subject for me. I have already posted in LQ about it, and never got the problem solved. Maybe, given the OP was about quite a different matter, it would be better to start another thread.
