Its not stupid, its just setup to prevent people from making links to only spam and advertise on this site. What is stupid is members who only post numbers to bump their count up to make that poll....
There is a very good reason for that rule - and spamming this board is a very bad way of getting around it. Rather than waste time and space, why didn't you just try to help 5 people?
