Red face Failure to load kernel modules after pacman -Syu

Hi,
I'm new here and I hope people are understanding here. I'm really new to Linux and I've only updated jack2, delete jack-pipewire and set grub to menu='hidden' and timeout=0 before I've ran pacman -Syu which lead to me learning that you can use a live system to repair Arch and me being skeptical whether this is the right distro for me. There is a bunch of mildly important stuff on it and I'm used to arch by now so I will try to fix it but I need help cause I don't know what to do. I've found this forum by searching my failures.

Code:
Failed to start Load Kernel Modules
failure to start light manager
Timed out waiting for zram0
dependency failed for compressed zram
dependency failed for create zram0
This is the issue and the only thing I've tried so far is:

Code:
mkinitcpio -p linux:
ERROR: '/lib/modules/5.16.0-arch1-1' is not a valid kernel module directory
 Building image from preset:
/etc/mkinitcpio.d/linux.preset: 'default' -> -k /boot/vmlinuz-linux -c /etc/mkinitcpio.conf -g
/boot/initramfs-linux.img
ERROR:
 Building image from preset: /etc/mkinitcpio.d/linux.preset:
'fallback' -> -k boot/vmlinuz-linux -c /etc/mkinitcpio.conf -g
/boot/initramfs-linux-fallback.img -S autodetect
I'm grateful for all answers

You haven't given much info.

Did you have boot mounted when you updated? Do you have a separate boot partition? That is where the kernel lives. If not then boot from the install media, chroot in, make sure that you have the /boot partition mounted, and reinstall the kernel.

That is all I can say from what you have posted.

Otherwise you will have kernell modules that are different from the kernel that you are booting from.
