"Enable system power saving" KDE


kde 4.5.4
Archlinux 64
dell vostro 3700

when I enable the "system power saving" in the powermanager and the system switch to the profile all the system crash...

the keyboard is out !!

solutions....

EDIT: what "enable system power saving" does?

It could be under clocking the processor. I under clocked my netbook to 800 Mhz with cpufreq. To know for sure go into your terminal and type
Code:
 cpufreq-info
Before the power saving feature enabled and after.
