-Model- HP AB 516-TX
-Ram- 8GB DDR3 SDRAM
-Processor- 6th gen intel core i5-6200U 2.3 Ghz
-Broadcom
-802.11b/g/n (1x1) and Bluetooth 4.0 combo
-1 TB HDD

you're going to have to boot with a rescue disk or stick, and downgrade your kernel, or experiment with a bunch of different boot options. there are a few acpi options like, append=acpi_enforce_resources=lax", or pci=noacpi, or noacpi.
it's a good guess that this happened after a kernel upgrade, but it could be any number of other things...
have you, VARoDeK, tried to boot into rescue mode?
i'm pretty sure arch's grub has that option.
maybe you also have some other kernel installed, that you could also boot from via grub.

Hi VARoDeK,
I would also try downgrading the kernel.
Boot an Arch install medium and once at the command prompt (where you would normally initiate pacstrap), chroot into your already installed system and downgrade to previous versions of linux, linux-firmware and linux-headers.
