saturn1955,

Which antiX version are you using?

antiX 17 is based on Debian 9 and antiX 19 is based on Debian 10.

Select the appropriate Debian base and follow:
https://wiki.winehq.org/Debian

Do you mean "wine" and not "winehq"? WineHQ is a web site, not an application. https://www.winehq.org

I tried to install whine, following the instructions from this link
Code:
https://wiki.winehq.org/Debian
but getting problems with this

Code:
Add the repository to /etc/apt/sources.list or create a *.list under /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ with the following content:
Debian 10 (Buster) deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/debian/ buster main
then
Code:
sudo apt update
after I did this I got the error code
Code:
$ sudo apt update
E: Missgestalteter Eintrag 1 in list Datei /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sources.list (Suite)
E: Die Liste der Quellen konnte nicht gelesen werden.
what means in english - misshaped entry in line 1, the list of the scources can not be read

but what is the reason of that?

You should probably just
Code:
sudo apt install wine
because that's how we install software on Linux - not by downloading stuff from websites.

OP: follow ondoho's advice. Linux has software repositories that include a ton of validated software, unlike windows, which includes nothing and you have to go to random web sites to get what you need.
