MX displays time, date, machine parameters on the desktop: How?
I run MX on three different machines. They all display information, formatted and colored matching with the background picture of the desktop. I searched for inxi config files but no luck, seems to be some other source. How is this achieved? Reason: I want to add CPU, motherboard and memory temperatures... Any pointer would be welcome .

It uses Conky to do that.
The MX Linux wiki has information here and here.
