Citrix Workspace (Receiver) fails with file or directory not found

I am using the workspace app for debian 64-bit on MX Linux 18.1.

Citrix Workspace for Linux
Version 19.3.0.5
Copyright 1998-2019 Citrix Systems, Inc. All rights reserved.
Copyright (c) 1986-1997 RSA Security, Inc. All rights reserved.

I see an error popup which says sth like "Connection with 0.0.0.2 - <company-desktop> cannot be testablished - file or directory not found". The message I see is German, so I translated it to English.

Usually that is a problem of missing certificates, so I followed https://support.citrix.com/article/C...029.1554883263 to trust the CA that signed the certificate of my Citrix endpoint. That did not help.

I also tried

sudo ln -s /etc/ssl/certs/* /opt/Citrix/ICAClient/keystore/cacerts

How can I find out which file or directory is missing? Can someone confirm that this version of the Citrix Workspace is working with MX 18.1 at all?
