Site Help
If you are having a problem with logging into the site or with registering, then post under this forum to try to get help, or just use the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page to notify the Site Administrators. Also post here any suggestions regarding the forum layout.
And the Contact Us link is at the bottom.
You can send and receive emails, suggest you contact them.
I haven't tried that forum, but I have had no problems signing up for accounts with other sites, if I did it was something I could figure out or ask for help about on their site.
As rtmistler pointed out, there is an AntiX Forum Contact link at the bottom of the forum page - it may be hidden by the cookie banner, but you can zoom the page (ctrl+mouse wheel) to reveal it.
It does not look like it requires registration to use, and should be your first port of call.
If that fails, the AntiX distro maintainer is Anticapitalista, and they happen to be an LQ user, so at some point they will see this thread - if you solve the issue before then, be sure to indicate as such with this thread.
I am having the same problem attempting to register on the antiX forums. I just sent the email below using the "AntiX Forum Contact" link provided by boughtonp (thanks for the link!) Of course, I don't know if my attempt to use the forum contact worked or not, because if that is based on email, and email is indeed incorrectly configured on the forum website, that might nuke my contact attempt.
So I thought I would post here as well and bump the thread, in case that might catch the attention of the antiX forum administrators.

I tried to register on the antiX forums. I never received the confirmation/password email. I go to the forum registration page and try to register again, and it says my username/email is already taken. So I try the "Forgot my password" link. And that responds with an error that the website cannot send email, and may be incorrectly configured. My initial attempt at registration was a few weeks ago. I have re-tried registration/forgot-my-password a couple of times since them to see if this might be an intermittent problem with the forum software. But it appears to be a permanent failure.
Any help you can give me in completing my registration would be appreciated.
Instead of waiting for a response via LQ, why not go back to the antiX forum home page and register using a different username and a newly created email at ProtonMail (for example):

Thanks for the suggestion.
But my guess is that the same website misconfiguration that creates the error "Site not correctly configured to send email" when I try "Forgot my password", will cause any other attempts by the site to send an email (like a new user registration) to fail as well. That would explain why I never got the original email when I initially tried to register. And the O.P. reported they had the exact same problem with emails. I have not received a reply to my "contact us" attempt on the website either - further indication that all emails from the website are probably hosed. But it's only been a day or two since I tried that "contact us", and I don't expect an immediate reply. I'm pretty sure it's all or mostly volunteers who handle that antiX website/forums and you can't expect/demand an instantaneous response.

I am having a few problems with antiX that I wanted to post on their forums to ask questions about, but I am slowly but surely figuring them out on my own. My current problem is after boot, nothing can open my X display, :0.0. But I know X is running, given the fact that I am looking at a GUI and can click on the taskbar to bring up the menus. 99% of the things I click on don't work, but they do spit an "cannot open display" error to the logs. One of the things that I can click on that actually DOES work is "restart IceWM". After I do that and re-login, then everything works as expected. So I have a workaround for my problem. Anyway, I'll probably figure out what the issue is on my own before I gain access to the antiX forums. Which is good for my brain if I can figure it out on my own. I'm not in a big hurry.
