realloc error on Topas

Hi,

When I run Topas on one of my servers, it gives me "realoc error". Initially I thought it was a memory problem but i have upgraded to 220GB.

How do I resolve this?

I run on Aix 5 with an OSlevel of - 5300-03-00

220GB Memory? Hm, does errpt say something more useful?

errpt has not been useful. but I think I have to upgrade to TL5 and above bcos am presently on TL3. I cant do the upgrade now bcos am not sure of the implication it will have on my DB and Applications. The server is a productions server.

1. Do an update. AIX 5.3 ML03 was current in February 2003, if memory servers me correctly.
2. Do a alt_disk_install so if there is something wrong with the updated AIX you just reboot back to the original version.
3. Are your applications code current, or also an older (perhaps unsupported) version. Talk with your vendor and ask about proper (i.e. supported) levels of AIX and the application.
