Talking Light Office Suite.-

First of all, I want to apologize for my bad english.

Send you this letter from Oaxaca City, in México, and I would like to thank for this great mini distro.

The reason for this email is to ask about an office suite other than Libreoffice and a little lighter, this is because when installing Libreoffice, Java [JRE] is also installed and this causes sound faults, which, in fact, stops working. For this reason I thought that Abiword and Gnumeric could be installed to replace Libreoffice and avoid problems related to Java.

I send you a strong hug.-

Welcome to LQ !

Both AbiWord and Gnumeric should be available in 4MLinux 23.0 stable, which will be released at the beginning of November.

Thanks for your nice words about 4MLinux!

andi_rivera, as an aside, I must say that that tiny little font is hard for these old eyes to read.
