Question Can have desktop icons on by default?

Hi Zbigniew.

I prefer to have icons on the desktop. How can I have this by default to remain permanent? I notice if I select the idesk on/off icon on the wbar - the desktop icons can be shown/hidden. I want them to be on after reboot.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, such an option does not exist.

That is unfortunate. Are there plans to implement this feature?

You can try to add the following line:
Code:
idesk-switcher
at the very beginning of the /usr/share/jwm/autostart file.
