Starting SSH service

i donot know to open the ssh service on my BSD linux server,i have opened the 22 port in my iptables file

First are you using BSD *or* Linux? Second, if it's linux, what version/distro are you using?

In FreeBSD, in the /etc/rc.conf file add the line: sshd_enable="YES"
