ipf/ipnat emule freebsd = the 1st flying computer

Hi,

Im getting a little frsutrated with my router, i spent ages reading on how to setup ipnat/ipf/freebsd and came out with a box that works, all my machines can get internet access.

When i use emule through the box i get a lowid, if i directly connect the box the emule connection is fine So has anyone else sorted this problem out, im using freebsd 5.2.1 ipf and ipnat that came on the box,

i have reduced my ipf.rules to pass in all, pass out all so that theres no problems there.

My ipnat.rules ;

# vr0 = internet interface, xl0 = internal network interface

map vr0 192.168.1.0/24 -> 0.0.0.0/32 proxy port ftp ftp/tcp
map vr0 192.168.1.0/24 -> 0.0.0.0/32 portmap tcp/udp 40000:60000
map vr0 192.168.1.0/24 -> 0.0.0.0/32

#emule
rdr vr0 0.0.0.0/32 port 4662 -> 192.168.1.10 port 4662
rdr vr0 0.0.0.0/32 port 4672 -> 192.168.1.10 port 4672
rdr vr0 0.0.0.0/32 port 4711 -> 192.168.1.10 port 4711

thanks for any guidence as this ones really annoying me...

Hello mate!

You only need this two redirections:

#emule
rdr vr0 0.0.0.0/0 port 4662 -> 192.168.1.10 port 4662
rdr vr0 0.0.0.0/0 port 4672 -> 192.168.1.10 port 4672

I had the same problem and then I changed 32 to 0 and it works fine.
