I must say I'm becoming increasingly disillusioned by openSUSE lately.
Each day seems to bring a new niggling problem (added to the niggling problems that have always existed it's becoming very boring now).

Today's problem:
I have 32-bit Firefox and Flash on 64-bit openSUSE 10.2. I haven't done any updates for some time til yesterday and since then, flash movies (YouTube etc) are no longer playing properly in Firefox.
The movies load fine so there is no connection problem, the movies just stop playing for no reason. So I have to click on the progress bar beneath the movie (if there is one) to get it going again but a couple of seconds later it stops again and it carries on like this for every movie and for the entire length of the movie.

I have for as long as i remember given up on using Firefox packaged by Distros.

I'd Suggest download Firefox directly from Mozilla
Extract it to your Home Folder and install Flash to there and use that from now on.

But thats just me

Hmm, it's funny you should say that, I actually gave up on the distro firefoxes quite a while ago (there was a known problem with ubuntu firefox being terribly slow at one point, amongst others).
I don't know when I started using them again but you have reminded me now and I'll go back to self installed firefox's from now on.

Incidentally, due to many other problems I'm having I did yet another reinstall of suse (and I swear this is the last time...) and movies are playing fine now.
But I will still be installing manually.
