I am looking for a good program or bootable os that will run as a router/firewall. That is easy to set and does not take any maintain or very little. Thanks
I have installed it on an old 486 and a Pentium 2. Set up was very easy and within a few min. I had it up.
Interface is pretty simple and once it's up you can get to it via your browser. IPCop is very similar, I don't know which came first since both are very similar (did I say they are similar)
Anyway...
Best bet is to get a couple and try them out and go with what you like.

P.S.
If your looking for a bootable cd I gave this one a look:

Not sure if based on linux but freesco seemed nice
I agree. coyote linux is nice. Fits on a floppy. Don't even need a hard drive. You can set your configuration where all your rules load at startup. (not that you'd have to reboot it very often any way).Don't even have to log in to it. it's working when it gets to the login prompt.
