Lets take the flaming and arguments elsewhere gentlemen. If this thread doesn't do a 360 degree turnaround and back on the original topic, this thread will be closed.

1. No name calling is allowed.
2. No personal attacks are welcome.
3. No bashing of anyone, company or thing is allowed.
4. No flaming is allowed.
5. If your going to post, post constructively, if not, move on to the next thread. Challenge others' points of view and opinions, but do so respectfully and thoughtfully ... without insult and personal attack. Differing opinions is one of the things that make this site great.

Follow the rules here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/rules.php

You have all been verbally warned now!! You know if you broke the rules and know if you didn't. If you have a problem or anything to say, either email me or the site admin.

Don't want to see another post regarding the ongoing flaming that has occurred and just about every rule has been broken.

Regards.

I know you most likely posted this before my response but I do have one thing to say about this issue and banning such members.

First of all, you all that replied and may I say, acted like children responding to oopicmaster. I'm not claiming anything but lets set a few things straight here after reading about every post in this thread.

He might be posting such things for other members to hate or disagree with. You should just learn to move on, ignore it. If you see something that might lead to a problem, report the post to a moderator for monitoring, don't make the problem worse by breaking the rules of this site, in which I see alot of member have done so.

I would have to say the members that enticed him to keep flaming or stating anti-linux comments or the such were only driven by other members responses that didn't help the situation in any way possible.

I don't blame oopicmaster, I blame everyone that broke the rules of this site. oopicmaster might come off as liking Windows, but he is still entitled to his opinions and I only saw him start to defend himself against the other members attacking him.

I can say some of his posts were unecessary though after the fact just like the members who responded as well, in a flaming type way.

Lets just drop it all together. Anyone wants to contribute to the actual original topic and problem, well, go ahead and post. Anyone wants to flame or attack others, etc, email me with your issues your having or just ignore and move on to the next thread.

Regards.

Indeed I've posted it before your post trickykid, just look at the time of the messages came in. Anyway, I don't agree with you blaming all of us (or calling us children, more clearly me as you've took my post as an example) instead of him. I do, agree with the move on thing. But once you see the topic is useless and leading into racism (as I hope you've also read it) it should be closed... Even if we drop it by now, sooner or later somebody will bring this up... if it's closed, there's no more problems.

Also note that most of the top posters here tried to help him out, but he not really cared...

Well, what I was trying to imply was none of the members I see posting in what I feel is really unecessary didn't help in anyway to stop this earlier. The first reported post was just today and not more than a few hours ago.

If you feel a member is just trolling, either ignore them and move on or report the post to a moderator. Every member who posted back in an uncessary way only shows they are at the same level as the troll, etc.

If you don't like my opinion, like I said before, if you or anyone wants to discuss this, email me, don't post it here from this point on.

Regards.

OK, next time I will, but now I need to know. Couldn't you do the very same to me? (mail me, if the mods have access to our e-mails) because you did, made me look like a fool taking my post as a childish example... and you know it

You don't listen do you and I only started my reply based off your last response right after my first one. I didn't intend to make it appear I was only picking on you.

My posts are not directed to you, they're directed to everyone that participated and broke the rules in this thread. I did not email anyone cause that would be too many emails and my response was intended for anyone who broke the rules in this thread.

Good day.

PS. For the last time, email me with any problems you may have or the site admin. Also, mods only have direct email access if you have Email enabled in your profile. So I couldn't email you if I wanted to.
