'Non-starter' Linux starts moving rapidly up the mobile chain


Although Symbian and Microsoft called Linux a 'non-starter' as an OS for handsets, LiMo, Google's Android, and Nokia seem to be debunking that perception.

Given the growing acceptance of Linux in the mobile world, ABI Research to state that by 2013, nearly one of five mid- or high-end mobile devices will run on Linux.
