Linux vs Windows

Well finally Linux has arrived , i was not able to getaway from windoze as i found linux not so friendly as windows,(about two years ago) now i have tried many distros of linux...what a change in the os ,when compared to one year back.
I find puppy linux (frugal install ) and nimbleX easy to handle and a good supporing friendly forum , a good motivation for windoze refugeesm to move over to Linux.
total avoidence of runing script in terminal ,like in windows can bring in more people who want to move away from M$..
Multitasking has to be seen in Linux to belive ,even old ancistoral pc runs as fast as a new dual core...(i am not going to let go of my old laptop ;-))...
Now i am using only linux to connect to internet , as it is both fast and safe...
