iso-image from video-DVD

There is a discussion on LQ somewhere, dealing the question of iso-images made from video-DVDs. I cannot locate it currently, but want to show you a way that works for me and does so reliably. I categorize this under “Boundless Praise”, as it concerns software. But the programs which do the job are interchangeable. So do not expect YouTube-like exaltation with “Best Ever”.

I also write about things which do not work and also something that did not do all that I needed.

This can be about the Internet or just about Information technology in general. I will get back to that, later.

Agriculture suffers in the french region of Brittany.
While there is a lack of terrain, the hog houses burst with too many animals, the water is polluted with a diversity of herbicides, pesticides and the remains of chemical fertilizers.., -all the same-, farmers are forced to intensify their already intensive production and the reason for their suffering is given...

When the times get rough in the way that they are getting now, I can assume and somehow just know that everybody is concerned. But following the news on those media which are not TV and trying to fill the gaps by actively looking up the information that is missing, I can state that of all the shit that is hitting the fan a lot falls on France.

The home-banking-portal of my bank locked me out automatically after only a few seconds since I entered my credentials and was lead to the initial page, where I would have wanted to choose a function.
