Wow ... been a long time
Jeepers, I haven't posted to this (sheesh, I forgot it even existed) since 2009!
I'm amazingly still at the same job ("celebrating," if that's the right word -- it isn't -- my 14th anniversary). I've had (and lost, along with my gall bladder) a couple of romantic relationships in the meantime, and had a heart attack in the great outdoors (most of the way up one of the White Mountains).
Currently trying to muddle along with OpenBSD 7.0. I love the system, but am having issues with procedures that involve connectivity: applying patches, using pkg_add, etc. Not sure what's going on.
UPDATE: I think, alas, I'm gonna bail on OpenBSD and head back to Slackware. I'm just -- gawd, how lame -- not feeling up to hunting down what's up with this system ... I've Googled some and there is just no consensus in what I'm seeing, so.
