Mounting initramfs failed
Installation went well, but when I attempt to boot Slack I get these errors:
mount: mounting /dev/initramfs on /mnt failed: No such device ERROR: No /sbin/init found on rootdev (or not mounted). Trouble ahead. You can try to fix it. Type 'exit' when things are done. /bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off Right before these popped up, everything was going well and eudev-3.2.11 was starting. |
Which kernel are you using? If you're using the generic kernel (as recommended), you will need to create an initrd to go with it. There's a script in /var/log/setup for doing that.
