Slackware64-current v.s. Slackware64-live-current for installing onto main PC?
I heard twice that slackware 64 current install DVD is different than the live DVD? Which one should I use to install and if this is the case then why does the live DVD offer an option to install it at all?
Where should I get my .iso from then? |
Official Slackware iso is this: https://mirrors.slackware.com/slackw...re64-15.0-iso/
everything else is NOT official. If you want a stable official Slackware iso thats your only choice. |

I looked at https://slackware.nl/slackware/slackware64-current-iso/ and the ISO is right there. Don't know what your issue is. |

You could also build you own ISO.
See mirror-slackware-current.sh here: https://slackware.nl/people/alien/tools/ Use mirror-slackware-current.sh -h to get available parameters. Use mirror-slackware-current.sh -w write a default configuration file. |

2) If for some reason you can't access the server, try one of these mirrors: https://us.slackware.nl/slackware/sl...4-current-iso/ https://slackware.uk/people/alien-cu...4-current-iso/ |
It worked.
