prozilla download problem

hey..i have downloaded 87% of the iso image and the power's gone .i have no backup the prozilla program which i am using to install the iso images has divided the entire image into 4 parts which are stored in my root directory as iso.pz0,iso.pz1,iso.pz2 and oso.pz3.now the problem is i have tried to continue the download when i restarted after some time...now the download is beginning from scratch ie.,from 0.0%..this is ridiculous..my internet speed is something like 32kbps and the file has been downloading from the past three days..i am totally frustated..i dont know what to do...at this moment...do i need to begin the entire download again?i have read the man files of prozilla many times but no clue is found regarding what to do when the download abruptly ends..i dont know how to resume it....some one got any idea????

proz -r URL, should resume your download from where it left off (perhaps with a little roll back to ensure file integrity). When you tried prozilla again it should have prompted you to abort, resume, or overwrite.

This is ofcourse assuming the site you downloaded from supports resuming.
Since you claim that the download started again from scratch, i believe prozilla overwrote your previous attempt. I'm afraid you may be out of luck.

I'm not familiar with prozilla, but if you have to start your download over, you might try just using wget this time. It's tried and true, and if you need to resume, you can use the -c (continue) option.

Enjoy!

And if you want yet a third option there is curl.
curl <URL> -O -C -

this tells curl to DL the URL, write output to the same name as the file on the server, and figure out the offset to resume from.

If the url supports resumption of download,'proz -r' will work.so is 'wget -c'.
to Cerbere : prozilla is a download accelerator, which will work with 4times the speed of wget.also checkout http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=108879

prozilla will not work 4 times the speed of wget!

hey..i guess.that download is wasted..some one said to download the remaninig part of the download with wget ..i even tried that out..its not working....this is coz...prozilla's download
is divided into 4 parts by default and each of 'em is suffixed .proz..so...wget is giving error in beginnining the download...thats it buddies..3 days of patience has led to nothin..i guess igotta mail the prozilla guys regarding this bug..ie resuming download after an
abrupt end...as for wget...i initially went for prozilla when wget in my system could not download iso..there's some problem with it....i have already posted it..........
