Missing mozilla-thunderbird.desktop

After latest upgrade to mozilla-thunderbird-115.5.2-x86_64-1_slack15.0, my thunderbird icon didn't work. It turned out the package has
/usr/share/applications/thunderbird.desktop
instead of
/usr/share/applications/mozilla-thunderbird.desktop
Renaming it fixed the problem.

If by "my icon" you mean "my shortcut"
since the .desktop was renamed, you have to remove your shortcut and make a new one

Not symbolic link or anything like that. I meant the icon in "Favorites" section of KDE Applications menu. It was always referring to /usr/share/applications/mozilla-thunderbird.desktop. So, I thought, it was a typo by packager.

If they changed it to /usr/share/applications/thunderbird.desktop, then I'll edit the icon.

Right-click -> Remove from favourites.

Find Thunderbird in the Internet sub-menu, Right-click -> Add to favourites.

Oh, thanks. So, it copies when you "Add to Favorites", not links it. I removed and added new.
