KDE Dolphin file/folder actions borked - Message recipient disconnected from message bus

Need some assistance with this issue. The full error is:

This occurs when trying to do any file/folder action like copy/move/etc. with KDE Dolphin. Issue started around 3 weeks ago.

Slackware-current
KDE Dolphin 23.08.3
KDE frameworks 5.112.0
QT 5.15.11
XOrg

Confirming that my fuse module is loaded. There are numerous other reports on the issue but indicated fixes do not work. I have not however recompiled my kernel with fuse builtin.

My next action will be to upgrade the kernel to the 6.6.x in -current.

Any suggestions welcome.

did you solved this, had the same problem.

A quick update: file/folder functions now work in Dolphin for locations that are local to the machine (ie. not remote mounts like a usb drives). I still can't copy/move between local and remote mounts (I use the CLI for that). AS mentioned in my op, this just started sometime at the beginning of Nov after a general update ...

1. do you still have the problem
2. is it also just between local and remote drives, or from local to local as well?
