Although running -current with 5.19.12 on an Intel based laptop, I hadn't noticed any issues with the display. Nevertheless I'm keen to move away from 5.19.12 - just in case - and, not being sure how long till an official update will be available, I've now installed my own 5.19.13.

I have a 12th-gen Alder Lake laptop which would black-screen upon mode setting at boot with 5.19.12. A Ctl-Alt-Del would eventually bring the screen back showing a kernel crash. I could get it to boot 5.19.12 as normal by appending the "nomodeset" kernel parameter. I've reverted it to the 5.19.11 kernel which works fine.

I have another 8 year old Intel laptop that's been running 5.19.12 fine.
