Linux on Sony VAIO VGN-FE21M


Can I install Linux on this Laptop?

From first glance, it looks possible.
Try looking for specific parts on the HCL:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...ty&btnG=Search
or look for answers specific to the laptop:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...rt&btnG=Search
You can get linux graphics drivers here:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_d..._1.0-8762.html
My guess would be that the integrated sound card may not work, but everything else should. If in fact it doesn't work after installation, this card should work:

BTW: What distro do you want to install?
