SuSE Linux, KVM, audio to VM occasionally ceases

Had problem since beginning, an update or so ago it went away, now back.

Problem
Audio: VLC with several online radios links, back-ground music/news
Audio/visual: And someone posts a video on FB etc.

Every now and again, the audio’s stops working.
VLC no sound
Facebook no sound from anyone's posting, the video portion tends to work.
  • I’ve killed and restarted VLC, works hardly never
  • killed my VM “window” then reactivated it in the Hypervisor, works every now and again.
  • Generally, I reboot the VM and all is copacetic.

It’s almost like the Hypervisor needs a “ping - hey I’m still here!”
Is there a way I can do this?

Am I the only one having this problem?

My Hardware & Software and usage particulars

openSUSE Leap 15.5
LSB_VERSION=“core-2.0-noarch:core-3.2-noarch:core-4.0-noarch:core-2.0-x86_64:core-3.2-x86_64:core-4.0-x86_64”

I run the YaST online update every Monday Morning, first for the VM, then for the hypervisor. Once the hypervisor is complete, I tend to shut down all VMs and reboot my machine and start refreshed for the week.

Running KVM, generally running one (*my main desktop) VM (same LEAP etc.), though occasionally I have several others running for various reasons.

"Occasionally" are the worst type.

Over to you. Not much help available. Try to isolate what's different about the occasions and act accordingly.
