I just wanted to thank this community helping me a lot understand the basics and for making who I am today. My career is simply built on top of the knowledge I gathered in here.
I'm so happy, so grateful. I hope I can do something back to show my gratitude.

You too? Ha! It's been 17 for me :). I've visited many, many times, but hadn't logged in for a looonnggg time.

Congrats on what - 20 1/2 years now? Jeremy! I'll have to be a better supporter and a more frequent poster this year

You are the BEST

Great going Jeremy,

I have been in and out of Linux for years and it is always your site I come to for information. I just killed Windows 10 on a new PC computer and installed Linux Mint 19. This time, I intend to stay with Linux.

The Linux operating system is just so much cleaner than windows, you can almost hear your PC sigh with relief when you switch over to Linux!

In any case , thank you Jeremy!

Hmm, so this site was only a toddler when I decided to try this Linux thing I had heard about, in mid-2003....

I'm turning 71 in 3 days. I've been on LQ since 2008. Haven't been as regular the last decade or so. I've been trying to get more people more insterested in LQ. Hope it works/helps.
