Good news, thanks. I use firefox 31 (esr version), but if I spoof the useragent for youtube.com to look like firefox 36 it tells me it will use HTML5, and it does, and everything works. Without cookies or addons, nice.

Now if I could only ditch Chrome to use Firefox to play Netflix...
I'm on Firefox 36. Going to the youtube.com/html5 show's I have 3 of the 6 boxes checked. Chrome show's I have all 6 checked. |

As if - youtube has had the option to use HTML5 for ages, I've never had a problem. The rest of the web, that's any story ... :(
