Question New LFS setup hangs at boot with odd warning message.

Tried setting up an LFS install on my main PC, and I had little deviation from the LFS book. Re-compiled the kernel a few times because of some errors I have made. The first time, I was able to get into the system just fine, but forgot to install ethernet card support. After re-compiling the kernel with the correct options, I was greeted by this warning message:
Quote:
[0.251038] system 00:05: [io 0x0910-0x091f] has been reserved.
This message with different numbers and memory addresses appears maybe 20 or so times. Not exactly sure whats going on here, but it does not let me get into my LFS install.

Boot with old kernel and re-do your kernel, start with 'make clean', just to make sure all dependencies inside kernel get built properly.
