**** UBUNTU (testing in 6.10 and 7.04)
INSTALLATION
For usbstick D-Link DWK-G122 rev. C1 (ID 07d1:3c03) you use the ralink chipset driver: (use lsusb command to see)
1. start the system with the device disconnected to avoid conflicts
- extract and install (read file README for details):
since the Module directory:
sudo make
sudo make install
sudo modprobe rt73
3. unloads the modules in the system start that do not work correctly (use the lsmod command to see entry usbcore while device is connected)
- edit file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist:
sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
- adds the lines:
# causes the conflict with the correct driver rt73
blacklist rt73usb
blacklist rt2570
4. connect the device and temporally unloads the modules to avoid to restart:
sudo rmmod rt73usb
sudo rmmod rt2570
5. if there is not errors, configures your connection with the network administrator

Hello:
I don´t want to open another thread making a related question.
Well, until now, I had followed always this tutorial for run my USB adapter D-LINK.
But I have changed my computer, and now, when I go to the serialmonkey page, I found that this project doesn´t support the legacy drivers, and they say that the drivers are included into the kernel, since April-2009.
I have just installed Slackware 13.1 (kernel 2.6.33.4) and my USB doesn´t work.
My lsmod shows rt73usb, rt2x000usb and rt2x00lib
Does anybody know how must I install this USB device?
