SOLVED - Google Chrome Version 124.0.6367.91 (Official Build) file download problem
 

Hi all,
I updated my chrome to Version 124.0.6367.91 (Official Build). But new chrome downloads all files with wrong file extensions when I click "automatically select filename extension" box in the download dialog box.

Before update there is no such error, but now it insisted! I can not change the automatic extension or chrome could not find the automatic filename extension correctly!

To solve it, where should I start? Thanks.

 

Google Chrome is proprietary software from Google.

If you have found a bug in Google software, start by reporting the bug to Google.

Thanks boughtonp, I have never tried a such thing before. I can report this issue/problem to google by using Alt+Shift+I (report issue)! Solved!
