Installation of 96.43 Nvidia driver in Zenwalk fails: fatal error- no screens found (closed)

Just wondering if there is support with the nouveau driver for dual monitors (TwinView mode) and older nvidia graphics card 96.XX driver version... Or is it easier to install the nvidia driver in Salix Os then Zenwalk? I followed instructions to install nvidia driver in Zenwalk and got fatal screen error no screens found, and tried to modify the xorg file but now it says that nvidia driver instance still exitst and don't know how to remove it or how to re-install it cause according to nvidia-settings the driver is not being used....

I wanted to try a streamlined Slackware based OS that worked well with older 32 bits workstation and Nvidia Quadro4 card but some OS have not optimized the latest linux kernels for older systems..- for example the latest Lubuntu or LXDE Debian OS couldn't not work on my system, it was very slow and kept freezing! So far the LTS versions of Bodhi linux or Xubuntu are fine, Kororra linux with the latest linux kernel is sometimes a little slower (Gnome desktop) but still works and got dual monitors working with the nouveau driver!...
