how do I configure netpkg for http proxy?

hello
im quite new to zenwalk so my attempts may be feeble but when I try to open netpkg from system/netpkg it just says 'no network', I tried

'h t t p_proxy=h t t p:/ /192.168.0.1:808'
(sorry about extra spaces but arent allowd to post urls yet)

in the command line but to no avail, the proxy works fine in firefox so no network issues. how do i configure netpkg???
