Terminal behaviour in Kodachi 8.27

In the terminals "xfce4-terminal", "tilix" and "terminator" the following commands have no effect:

What am I missing?

Hi, be sure you have bash-history installed.

Then you could configure bash to have scroll-back, which

may be helpfull when looking at what a machine puts out to the screen.
