vsftpd login only diplays empty list

I am running suse 10.2 with port 20-21 open.

When I open firefox and ftp://192.168.2.3/ no user login dialog appears, instead an page without files/folders appears with the following:

Index of ftp://192.168.2.3/
Up to higher level directory

I would like to login as user to access the home directory from my second pc.

I have tried various etc/vsftpd.conf without luck, the current is:
write_enable=YES
dirmessage_enable=YES
local_enable=YES
local_umask=022
chroot_local_user=YES
syslog_enable=YES
connect_from_port_20=YES
pam_service_name=vsftpd
listen=NO
ssl_enable=NO

Please make my weekend :)

anonymous_enable=NO
local_enable=YES
dirmessage_enable=YES
connect_from_port_20=YES
xferlog_enable=YES
xferlog_file=/var/log/vsftpd/vsftpd.log
nopriv_user=nobody
chroot_list_enable=YES
chroot_local_user=YES
background=YES
listen=YES
pam_service_name=vsftpd

and with following option set in /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2 FW_ALLOW_INCOMING_HIGHPORTS_TCP=yes
I can connect from other PC's on LAN.

I can now connect and login as a local user, but I am not sure I am jailed, because I can browse to higher level and see all the other files too.
