looking at oversized pictures in konqueror

i recently went from opensuse 10.1 to 11. when i look at photos from a camera in konqueror, they are too large to see everything. in the former konqueror-installation, there was a button to make those pictures fit the screen. this button is now gone. i don't find it either, i only find "full screen modus", but that won't help for 5 or 7 megapixel photos from my cameras. how do i fix this? thank you very much!

Don't use Konqueror to view photos!! There are a bazillion good photo viewers out there. Several will already be in your menus under Graphics.
Also try Digikam, Picasa (from Google), and many others.

this is just to look at them - konqueror is my "explorer". i don't want to run an extra programme to just have a quick look at photos. :) i work with them in corel paint shop pro photo x2 and adobe cs3.
