Changing the Refresh rate on a terminal

Ok, first up i'm new to solaris but i've been using linux for a while. Anyway my problem is that i have a SPARCstation LX that is used to run X sessions on another sun server and i would like to change the refresh rate on the terminals monitor. So my first question is how do i exit the x session and logon to the terminal itself because when i change the refresh rate in the currently running x session it simply changes it for the sun server.

Any help would be great.

Thanx.

I'm not sure if this will help any but you can try reconfiguring the monitor default settings with the leoconfig command.

man leoconfig for more options.. but I'm not sure if that will help as I'm not totally familiar with any other means.

i know this isn't too much help, but try http://docs.sun.com - it should be on there somewhere :D

It depends on the framebuffer device you use
for M64 it is
m64config
for afb device it is
afbconfig
see where /dev/fb0 points to
