Current kernel headers, box64 & Zoom
 

The kernel headers are much improved, thank you.

They now compiled box64-aarch64-git with no issues, whereas I had major header problems with box64 previously.

X86_64 dropped use of the /usr/include/asm directory a few years ago now, but it is alive and well in the Arm headers and fed by some 'asm/' directories nested down in odd places.

If anyone else is compiling box64 for zoom, I would suggest zoom-5.9.x or earlier, unless you need the latest features. That uses about 2G of ram. 5.10.x uses nearly 4G of ram, as Dynarec (part of box64) prepares to emulate various unnecessary libs. Each succeeding version is worse. Zoom inc has been throwing unnecessary features at their app like confetti at a wedding but I've never seen any of them used. Especially if you're embarassed for ram, stick with 5.9.x.

EDIT: If anyone is looking at the above Zoom advice, forget it. I wasn't allowed into my meeting yesterday because I didn't have zoom ≥5.10.3. I quickly grabbed the current (5.12.6) but it overran my 4G. I've installed 5.10.7, and it's filling 4.5 of ram under box64. Largely this is box64 applying some level of emulation to unused or barely used nonsense libs before starting. Startup time has also increased from ~60S to ~120S. I've put in a 2G swap file. I'd consider 2 GB a minimum swap size for Zoom, as 5.11.x & 5.12.6 (current version) are each more memory hungry. Zoom doesn't take that much in X86_64. My PC with X, libreoffice, chromium& zoom-5.12.x are all happy in 1.37GB of ram.

Further to that, as the meeting progresses, you end up with close to 1.5G in swap, and 3.5G or even less in ram
